This is what my kitchen looks like right now.
My dishwasher doesn't work so I have to wash everything by hand.
I don't think I can do it.
I think I will stay away for a while.
I have no clean bowls or spoons left.
How does it get messy so fast?

That's how I feel about my dishes. No dishwasher = oppressive. I just stopped cooking.
I bet your landlord would fix your dishwasher for you - or put in a new one :)
I date dirty dishes. It only takes half a day in this heat for milk to curdle in a bowl at the bottom of the sink. I know this from experience.
